Voice Lessons for All Ages (5 to 95)
Amy Ahlert has been teaching voice and performance privately for over twenty years, working with students from age four to ninety-five, including those with physical and cognitive disabilities. Her unique approach instills confidence, poise, and a lifelong love of singing. Each lesson focuses on proper breathing, lyric interpretation, pitch recognition, and diction. Audition guidance and script assistance are available for kids and adults alike across all genres, including pop, theater, country, soul, and jazz (her specialty).
Born into a legendary musical lineage as the granddaughter of Songwriter’s Hall of Fame inductee Fred Ahlert and daughter of lyricist Richard Ahlert, Amy is an accomplished writer, award-winning business owner, and dedicated arts teacher who created early New York cable television series before transitioning to independent novel publishing as the author of the political thriller Camp Hamptons and her newly released novel The District.
